WHO WE ARE

L.Powell is passionate about change. Started in 2017 after the release of L.Powell's first self published work - The Truth About Black Love.

As a primary school teacher with a degree in psychology L.Powell constantly found herself in conversations about the lack of diversity and representation in both adult and children's literature alike. From this she decided to work on "tipping the scale" by releasing books aimed at increasing representation.
