Delay Doesn't Mean Denial

I am not a blogger... It's not my "thing" but if this children's book experience has taught me anything, it's that there is more than one way to do things, and just because you've always done it one way doesn't mean that's the only way to do it.

So here I am preparing to release my first children's books 2 weeks later than planned because of all the problems I encountered. One day I'll be able to laugh at the fact that I was up every night until the early hours trying to fix editing problems whilst I was supposed to be on holiday in Barcelona... but not yet ey.

This first post is just some words of encouragement... I wasn't any more experienced than you are when I started, not more special and certainly not more deserving. But I believed in my voice. Even when things weren't going to plan I knew that they would eventually. I'm not sure how, but I did. I believe that's called faith.

So consider this your daily reminder, just because something isn't working as you pictured, doesn't mean it isn't working. Delay doesn't mean denial.
